Glass breaks

“Shattered Glass” was good, sad and interestingly told. Christianson makes the character easy to feel sympathy for despite how he played his friends, not to mention what he did to the industry and “The New Republic’s” readers.

Peeve: An ad in the paper today has “2002 Neon’s” and “2003 Grand Caravan Se’s” listed for sale. Hrumph.

Julie bought the first two seasons of the BBC show “The Office” the other day. We started watching it today. The boss is so dispicable that I’m having trouble with it. Some good, solid funny, though.
